Happy Hounds Skye only use high quality natural and plant based formula canine skin care products which are palm oil and cruelty free.

Full Groom

For long and curly coated dogs

This service includes:

visual full body health check
deep cleansing warm hydro bath using high quality and all natural products
full body massage
blow and fluff dry
full brush and comb out
ear and eye clean
sanitary area, paw pad and nail trim
full body styling using the art of clipping and scissoring to offer an attractive and maintainable hairstyle for your dog

Deshedding Groom

For double coated dogs

This service includes:

visual full body health check
deep cleansing warm hydro bath using high quality and all natural products
full body massage
blow dry
ear and eye clean
paw pad and nail trim
full body brush and comb out using specialist grooming equipment to remove dead hair and debris left in the coat

Spa treatments, standalone services and extras

Grooming Price Guide

A starting price and estimate cost will always be passed on to you when you make an enquiry or request to be added to Happy Hound Skye's regular grooming client list.

Starting prices are for dogs:

that are used to being professionally groomed on a regular schedule to suit their breed and coat.
whose coats are well maintained between professional grooms (kept tangle, knot and matt free through correct and regular brushing and combing).

You can reasonably expect to pay more than the FROM price for:

matted, poorly maintained and/or overgrown coats.
long and/or curly coated breeds.
pets which are difficult to manage or uncooperative during grooming.
overweight pets or oversized for the breed standard.
timid, anxious or nervous pets, which require frequent breaks and special handling.

Puppy Package

Happy Hounds Skye’s puppy package is a gentle introduction to grooming for your puppy from 12 weeks to 6 months of age. It is of utmost importance that your puppy's first impression of grooming is stress and frustration free. Your dog has a lifetime of grooming ahead and it is therefore my objective to make sure that your puppy enjoys or at best, feels confident being groomed without much anxiety.

At Happy Hounds Skye I like to take my time with your puppy to get them used to the environment, equipment, dryers, other dogs, the bath, etc. It is important for your puppy to explore this new environment and get used to me, my dog Hugo and the other canine clients. Puppies MUST be fully vaccinated and one week past their last vaccination before they can come for their first puppy visit.

Puppy packages start with a minimum of 3 sessions starting with approximately 30 minutes building up to approximately 1.5 hours. Some puppies may require additional sessions at different stages and before they are confident and ready for their first full groom which will incur additional costs. Most puppies will be ready for their first full groom between 5 and 8 months depending on breed and coat type.
